Submitted by Jennie Cowan, RD, IOC DIPL SPORTS NUTRThe Dietitians of Canada Conference host city was Winnipeg this past June. I was able to attend and was inspired by connecting with other RDs across Canada. Some general sport nutrition goals are longer sustained energy and adequate protein for recovery. This past weekend I was able to try out new recipes and put the slow burning carbs with higher protein lentils to test.
Taking the time to try new ingredients and test out my endurance- a recipe for a great weekend!
